Childhood Home - The Primary Bedroom

This room was straight from the 90s! Red carpet, beige walls, and an outdated ceiling fan left the room feeling uninviting and uninspiring. But with a little creativity and some strategic updates, we transformed this space into a beautiful room.

First on the agenda was getting rid of that red carpet. We opted for luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring in a nice, neutral color that would complement the other updates we had planned.

Next, we tackled the walls. The beige paint was replaced with crisp, clean white. This simple change made a huge impact, instantly making the room feel brighter and more modern.

To really make the room feel special, we installed shiplap in the center of the ceiling and finished it with a stunning chandelier. We also swapped out the old door hardware for something more modern and polished.

The result is a primary bedroom that is a far cry from its outdated predecessor. The new LVP flooring, white walls, beautiful chandelier, and door hardware make the room feel fresh and modern.
