Childhood Home - The Primary Bathroom and Closet

This bathroom was stuck in the past with beige walls, red carpet, and a very small alcove shower. We knew we had to completely reconfigure the floorplan to create a more spacious and functional area. Our goal was to create a bathroom that was both beautiful and practical.

To achieve this, we first demolished the old bathroom and started fresh. We installed new floors, replacing the old carpet with LVP. We created a large, luxurious carrara marble shower with chrome fixtures. The shower not only looks beautiful, but it also provides more space for the future homeowner to comfortably shower.

To complement the shower, we installed a gorgeous freestanding tub from Delta Faucet. The tub is the centerpiece of the bathroom, and we installed a beautiful champagne bronze chandelier above it to add even more elegance to the space.

We also customized a new vanity. The vanity is black with a marble countertop and chrome faucets. It includes a makeup area in the middle, providing the future homeowner with a nice space to get ready in the morning. The vanity not only looks sleek but is also functional, providing ample storage space for toiletries. We finished this space with three matching arched top mirrors and champagne bronze wall sconces.

To complete the remodel, we also installed a new toilet and updated the door hardware. The result is a beautiful and functional primary bathroom that the new homeowner will enjoy for years to come.

Primary Closet

If you're like most people, your closet is a space that often gets overlooked when it comes to home improvement projects. However, a closet remodel can make a huge difference in the overall look and feel of your home. In this blog post, we'll share our experience with a primary closet remodel, where we made some subtle changes that had a big impact.

The first thing we did was replace the red carpet with luxury vinyl plank (LVP) floors. Next, we replaced the wooden closet rods with oval chrome ones. This was a small change, but it made a big difference in the overall aesthetic of the closet. The chrome finish added a touch of elegance to the space, and the oval shape of the rods made it a little more modern. In addition, we replaced the rod and shelf supports with new supports.

Finally, we painted the walls and shelves. The original walls and shelves were a beat up from years of use, so a fresh coat of paint made them look brand new.

Overall, these subtle changes had a huge impact on the look and feel of the primary closet. If you're thinking about a closet remodel, I’d also recommend using hangers that all match! Don't overlook the power of small changes. Sometimes, the smallest tweaks can make the biggest difference.
