Satellite Media Tour

If you're a fan of home improvement, you might be interested in hearing about the crazy experience that Mike and I had recently. We were lucky enough to participate in a satellite media tour where we interviewed with 23 different TV and radio stations, all in one day!

For those who may not be familiar with a satellite media tour, simply put, it's a series of interviews conducted with multiple TV and radio stations all in one day, using a satellite link to connect with each station from a central location. In our case, that location was a studio in Indianapolis, Indiana.

We were invited by Delta Faucet to participate in the tour to talk about our expertise in home improvement. We had a packed schedule, with interviews scheduled every 5-10 minutes for 4 hours straight. That meant we had to be on our game, ready to talk about all things home improvement at a moment's notice. We spent those hours answering questions about everything from DIY projects to interior design trends, and it was truly a whirlwind experience. The interviews were all live, so there was no room for error - it was nerve-wracking but also incredibly exhilarating!

On the one hand, we were excited to have the opportunity to share our knowledge and experience with so many people. On the other hand, the pressure was intense, as we had to make sure we were delivering valuable insights and engaging with each interviewer on a personal level.

One of the things that we loved about the satellite media tour was the opportunity to speak with such a wide variety of media outlets. We chatted with morning news shows, radio hosts, and an article was even published in several newspapers. It was amazing to connect with people from all over the country and share our tips and tricks for improving your home. Each interview presented a unique opportunity to connect with a different audience and share our passion for home improvement.

Overall, the satellite media tour was an awesome experience. It was a great way to reach a wide audience in a short amount of time, and it was a great opportunity to showcase our expertise in a fun and engaging way. We found out afterwards that 10.5 million people saw us in some way or another - which is staggering!!
